Basic Vehicle Rescue
48 hour class
This course covers all the basic phases of vehicle rescue from dispatch to the post rescue phases of the operation. 24 hours class room and 24 hour practical.
This course prepares students to take the NFPA 1006 Vehicle Machinery Rescue Technician Test. In PA this class will be followed by a PA DOH written test for
State certification.
This class can be broken down into the components of Awareness/Operations/Technician
These three classes are the same as taking Basic Vehicle Rescue except are divided into three 16 hour classes to better meet the needs of some departments;
Basic Vehicle Rescue - Awareness 16 hour class
Basic Vehicle Rescue - Operations 16 hour class
Basic Vehicle Rescue - Technician 16 hour class

Special Vehicle Rescue
16 hour DOH Class
SVR is a certification class through the PA DOH. This course picks up where BVR leaves off and discusses Trucks, Buses, machinery, and agricultural entrapments.
A bus and truck are required to work with for this class.

Structure Collapse
Structure Collapse Awareness
4 Hours PSFA class
This class gives the student an overview of the safety aspects and initial arrival and size up of collapse rescue.
This is a required class to take the Operations level course.
Structure Collapse Operations
PSFA 16 Hour class
This is the Operations level course working with collapse of wood frame buildings. Students will build shoring to stabilize a wood
frame building both interior and exterior. Contact us for the list of equipment and lumber required.
